Konya Şeker Provides 410 Million TL Advance

The payments, issued under the name “beet irrigation advance,” were transferred to farmers’ accounts on July 11, after 5:00 PM.

Ramazan Erkoyuncu, Chairman of the Konya Beet Growers’ Cooperative and President of PANKOBİRLİK, emphasized their ongoing commitment to supporting producers. “As Konya Şeker, we continue to stand by our farmers under all conditions. With this approach, we have transferred the 410 million TL beet irrigation advance to our producers’ accounts. A strong farmer means stable agricultural production and a stronger Turkey,” he stated.

The advance aims to ease financial pressures during the critical irrigation season. Additional support payments, covering weeding and harvest expenses, are expected to follow. Erkoyuncu also highlighted that such initiatives help ensure the long-term sustainability of agricultural production, reflecting Konya Şeker’s dedication to being a reliable partner for its producers.
